Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree and the Morongo Basin, by requestWindow, Solar and Pigeon Work in the Morongo Basin
Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms, Morongo Valley and Landers. Same prices as the High Desert, no trip fee, a $249 job minimum, and Tony confirms every visit.
From Hesperia the Morongo Basin is down Highway 247 through Lucerne Valley and over to Highway 62, about an hour and a quarter to Yucca Valley. We make that drive on grouped route days, the same way we handle Big Bear, which keeps the basin on the same price list as Hesperia with nothing added for distance. The one rule is a $249 job minimum per visit, and Tony looks at every Morongo Basin request himself before it goes on the calendar.
Where the route days go
Yucca Valley
The largest town in the basin, where Highway 247 meets Highway 62. Ranch homes on big lots, newer tracts toward Yucca Mesa, and solar on many of the newer roofs. Grouped with the rest of the basin on one day.
Joshua Tree
Homesteads and modern desert houses built around glass, many of them short term rentals. Big panes, a lot of dust, and owners who are not on site.
Twentynine Palms
Homes near the base and along Adobe Road, farther east and drier still. The longest leg of a basin day, so it pairs best with Joshua Tree stops.
Morongo Valley and Landers
Morongo Valley on the way in from the Pass side, Landers and Flamingo Heights up Old Woman Springs Road on the way in from ours. Off grid arrays in Landers are solar work with no grid to fall back on.
What the basin does to a home
Dust that never rinses off
The basin gets even less rain than the High Desert, and the wind runs every afternoon in spring. Glass and panels carry a film a storm never clears, so a cleaning holds until the next blow, not the next rain.
Big glass
Modern desert homes here are built for the view, with sliders and fixed panes taller than a person. That is water fed pole work: purified water up a carbon pole, scrubbed and rinsed from the ground, dried spot free with no ladder against the glass.
Rentals between guests
Give us the checkout and check in times and the job goes in that window, with a lockbox code and photos texted when it is done. Outside glass, screens and tracks in one visit, inside glass $49 more when the dust has come in.
Screens and the wind
Afternoon wind and sun wear fiberglass mesh out fast here. We re-mesh at the truck, all weather mesh at $64.99 a screen, and screens added to a window cleaning help a visit reach the $249 minimum.
The same numbers, one rule
Windows $149 single story and $249 two story outside, screens, tracks and sills included, inside every window $49 more. Solar $7 a panel with purified water. Pigeon proofing $450 for up to 12 panels, with the cleanout, clipped mesh, 2 to 3 spinners and a panel wash included. Screens re-meshed from $53.99, all weather $64.99. Pressure washing, hard water removal, gutters and the rest are in the quote under Find our other services, priced on site.
The one Morongo Basin rule is a $249 job minimum per visit. Pigeon proofing meets it alone, so does a two story window cleaning, and a single story window cleaning usually pairs with a solar wash or screens to get there. The quote above tells you plainly when you are under the line, and sending it anyway is fine: Tony answers every basin request himself.
Work you do not have to stand over
A lot of basin homes are second homes and short term rentals, so the work often happens with nobody watching. That is where a written scope earns its keep: you know before the visit what is included, outside work gets done the same whether or not anyone is home, and photos come by text when it is finished if you want them. If a window has hard water etched in or an array has birds under it, Tony sends the price first instead of adding it on.
From the quote to a date
The day you pick in the quote is a preference. Basin requests are collected and grouped so one drive covers several homes, and Tony then texts from 714-559-0300 with the date and whether it is a morning or an afternoon. The confirmed date is the booking, and payment comes after the work, once you have looked it over.
We are just starting in the basin. Until basin jobs are finished and photographed with the homeowner's permission, the pictures on this page are from our High Desert jobs, each labeled with the town it was taken in.

Window cleaning $149 / $249
The base price covers 10 to 12 windows on a single story or 18 to 20 on a two story. Past that it's more glass, more screens and more tracks to do right, so it's a flat $39 more, single or two story.
One flat $49 for every window inside the house, with the tracks vacuumed and wiped dry. Most companies charge by the window for inside work. We're already there with the water and the tools, so doing the inside costs you far less than a separate visit.
Big custom homes vary a lot. Extra panes and screens are counted on site or from a satellite view, and inside and out can run $499 to $599 on some homes. You get the exact price from Tony before anything starts, so there are no surprises on the day.
What you get. More light in every room, a clear view, screens and tracks that slide the way they should, and glass that lasts because hard water never gets the chance to etch it.
Why now. Dust and sprinkler overspray build up fast up here. A cleaning every 3 to 6 months keeps hard water from setting into the glass.
Pigeon proofing $450+
Cheaper crews screw or bolt mesh into the panel frame or the roof. Every hole is a spot for water and a reason for a solar company to deny a warranty claim. Our clips grip the inner lip of the frame, hold in High Desert wind, and come off clean if a panel ever needs service.
Pick one so the price is right. A two story home adds $125.
$450 covers up to 12 panels. Each panel past that means more mesh, more clips, more cleanout under the array and one more panel to wash, so it's $50 a panel. Set your count in the panel box below.
2 to 3 spinners come free. A spinner's flash covers the side of the roof it faces, and a ridge blocks it, so bigger roofs or roofs with birds on both sides usually need one more. Tap "See what the spinners do" to watch it in 3D.
What you get. Birds out from under the panels, nests and droppings hauled away and the area sanitized so the smell goes too, panels washed, mesh clipped to the frame so nothing voids your panel warranty, and a lifetime workmanship warranty on the install, in writing.
Why now. Nests only get bigger. The longer the birds stay, the more there is to clean out, and the more droppings sit on the roof and the wiring.
Solar panel cleaning $7 a panel
What you get. Clean panels, and if we notice anything visible while we're up there, like a cracked panel or birds moving in, we point it out. $7 a panel, dried spot free.
Why now. There's almost no rain up here to rinse panels, so the dust stacks up and your output drops a little more every month.
Window screen repair per screen
The same class of mesh your builder used, installed and tensioned right. Clearest view and good airflow. Fine for shaded windows.
Heavy vinyl coated polyester, UV and weather resistant, made for outdoor sun. Holds up to desert sun, wind and pets better than standard fiberglass.
When a frame is bent, loose or missing corners, new mesh won't sit tight in it. We rebuild the frame to fit your window with new corners and clips, so the screen snaps in and stays. $10 a screen, with either mesh.
What you get. Air in and bugs out, a clearer view from inside, screens that pop in and out easily, and a 2 year warranty on the mesh.
Why now. UV runs about nine months a year up here. Builder mesh goes brittle, then the wind finishes it off.
Hard water removal from $12 a pane
Hard water is minerals bonded to the glass, so each pane is treated and polished by hand, pane by pane. We test one pane free first so you see the result before you decide on the rest.
Roof soft wash from $599
New construction clean from $249
Gutter cleanout quoted on site
Pressure washing quoted on site

Decal and vinyl removal from $129
Graffiti removal from $129

When your promos change, we take the old sticker off clean and put the new one up straight while we're there, $10 a sticker. You bring the stickers, we handle the glass.

How to tell it's time
- Windows. Spots when the sun hits the glass, screens that look gray, or more than 6 months since the last clean.
- Solar panels. No wash in the last 6 months, or a sunny day in your solar app reading lower than it used to.
- Pigeons. Birds on the roof, droppings on the tile or driveway, cooing under the panels, or a sharp ammonia smell in the heat. They don't leave on their own.
- Screens. Tears, holes, mesh that bows out of the frame or crumbles when you press it.

Morongo Basin questions
Do you come to Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree?
Yes, by request on grouped route days, about an hour and a quarter from Hesperia down Highway 247. Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, Twentynine Palms, Morongo Valley, Landers and Pioneertown. Same prices, no trip fee, a $249 job minimum per visit.
Is there a trip fee or a minimum?
There is no trip fee, and the prices are the ones on every page here. What the basin asks for is a $249 job minimum per visit. Pigeon proofing or a two story window cleaning meets it alone, and smaller jobs reach it by pairing two services. Tony reads every basin request before anything goes on the calendar.
Can you turn a rental between guests?
Yes. Tell us the checkout and check in times and the job is scheduled inside that window on a basin route day, with a lockbox code and photos texted when it is done. Managers with several homes get one schedule and one invoice.
Is my requested day confirmed when I send the quote?
Not yet. The day you pick is a preference. Tony collects basin requests into route days, then texts you the date and a morning or afternoon window. It is booked once he confirms it with you.
Have you worked in the Morongo Basin before?
We are just starting there, and we say so. Our customers so far are in the High Desert and the Inland Empire, and the photos on this page are from those jobs, each labeled with the town it was taken in. As basin jobs are finished, with the homeowner's permission, their photos take these places. Same work, same prices and the same written warranties as at home.
